How do I get an article that JWU Library doesn't own or provide access to through the databases?

I need an article that isn't available online or in print at our library.

First, be sure we don't have the article:

  • Search the Journal Lookup for the journal or magazine title (not the article title).
  • If the journal or magazine title is listed in your search results, follow the link to the database or library catalog record to determine if the library has the specific issues (dates) you need.

If you still can't find the article, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)ILL is a service through which you can borrow materials from other libraries that are not available at the Denver Campus Library. Service is restricted to currently enrolled JWU students, faculty, and staff.

To submit an ILL, fill out the online request form. A print form (.pdf) is also available on the guide, and attached to this question. Print forms should be returned to the Library's Information Desk.

Typically there is no charge to fill ILL requests.
