How do I find out what materials my instructor has put on course reserves?

Where do I find textbooks or DVDs that my professor has put at the library? Where is the Library's Reserve collection?

Answer

To find out what materials are on reserve for your class:

  1. Go to the Library Catalog
  2. Under the Course Reserves section, search by Instructor or Course Name/Number

Books, videos, and articles placed on Reserve at the Library can be found at the Check Out Desk.

Reserve books (i.e., course materials, including textbooks) circulate for 2 hours. The Library also has duplicate copies of some of its reference books on Reserve that circulate for 7 days. Reserve DVDs circulate for 1 day.
